yesternite...
i went for this fashion seminar...
it was damn cool...
n i learnt many new things...
Heres what i learnt:
-Fashion is a statement...
->its not just covering youself with sth...
-How to know if you r
->Hour-Glass Shaped (Hip is 6(for teenagers) or 8(for adults) inch greater than waist)
->Box Shaped (Less than the above measurement)
->Heart Shaped (Bust 2 inch more than hip)
->Pear Shaped (Bust 2 inch less than hip)
-Lighter colours gives volume, while dark colours do the opposite
-Horizontal stripes/lines gives volume, while vertical stripes/lines do the opposite
->stripes dont necessarily mean that it has to be striped...
u can make your own stripes/lines with scarves sweaters n such...
-Arrange you closet
->sometimes you can be amazed at what u dont use in there
->studies have shown that most people use only 20% of the clothes in their closet
(according to some scientific wardrobe people)
-Its best if your closet is painted a happy colour
->that way u fel better when u open your closet n hence, can make a better decision
->u can also put a light bulb in your closet to allow u to see all your clothes
-Steps to make a plan to Shop:
->Assess your wardrobe
->Plan u need to buy
->Plan where to go
-->try different shops to shop n u might find some great shopping places
->Shop
-->Focus ;Dont shop when u r upset (or shop in the moment), u wont make good decisions
->Use your items well
-->also develop good shopping habits, like keeping the receipt in case u want a refund or keeping
experience notes, so that u know where r the good places to shop n etc.
